Error on backup of main portion of site.

I am getting an error when trying to backup the main site information.  It seems to be failing after the 'copying user files' part (see attached screen shot).

All of the other courses backup without error.

I am running Moodle 1.5.4 on an iMac (MySQL 5.0.18 - PHP5).

We are running a big site here at SFSU and we also had this kind of errors. I wonder when the course level (scheduled) backup failed (ERROR!!), at least Moodle could give out some information WHY it got the ERROR? That would be really helpful. Thanks!

You might check some other logs to see if more detail is listed.  I would like in:

  1. the Moodle logs for Site Errors (not really sure anything would show here or not)
  2. your web server logs
  3. cron logs?
Maybe you can find some more information in one of those places.
