I'll be upgrading Moodle.org to a new server soon, and at the same time migrating the code to Moodle 1.6 and full Unicode.

Unfortunately the new server is showing some hardware problems which our datacenter are fixing, so I've had to delay the transfer while that gets completely resolved, but it will be as soon as possible.

When the transfer starts you'll find that moodle.org will be in "maintenance mode", which means you can still access the front page but it makes the courses and major forums unavailable. All the documentation, bug tracking and downloads will be unaffected.
