If you don't mind the student viewing the information, then Dmitry's Attendance block will do the trick for you. It allows you to place remarks with the daily attendance for each child.
You can also download the attendance into an excel spreadsheet which would allow you to sort the remarks by child so you wouldn't have to click on each individual day. This is the only solution I can think of right now.
