Fatal error trying to do a backup o restore a course in moodle 1.5.4

These are the error messages:

  • When I try to backup a course: Fatal error: Call to undefined function backup_mod_selected() in ...\mod\assignment\backuplib.php on line 35
  • When I try to restore a couse: Fatal error: Call to undefined function restore_userdata_selected() in ...\mod\chat\restorelib.php on line 65

I just did an upgrade of moodle to 1.5.4 from 1.5.3. The last time I did an upgrade of moodle I got the same mesagge every time for each module, I fixed them one by one just copying the backuplib.php and the restorelib.php from the last version of moodle I had previously installed.

Hi,

We did an upgrade from Moodle 1.5.3. to 1.5.4+ (after our upgrade to 1.6.1. failed), but we find that we cannot create new categories or new courses (the error message is "Serious Error! Could not create the new course!") unless I insert it manually in the database and then restore a course backup into the empty shell.

Does anyone have any idea as to what I can do to remedy this situation?

Rgrds,
Paul.
