In one course, there are a couple of pdf documents for a number of different subjects.
All open fine except one, the page seems to stick whilst opening the document forcing the user to close moodle and start again. The file size is 2.9Mb.
Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this problem?
Not sure why that would be a problem John. Can you make this document available to the public somewhere in Moodle and post a link to it so we can verify the problem?

The file starts to open, and then for some reason stops.

I just tried it, but your site seems to be down this morning. I'll bookmark it and try again later...I did, however, notice the two slaches between 81 and the file name...that seems strange...you may want to check to see if this is correct...seems there should be only one unless you started the file name with a /.

Okay...it opened fine for me now...with two slashes and with one in the url.
