Hi!
I have three problems with the HTML Editor under 1.5.3. I downloaded latest version from Moodle CVS recently and they still persist. I'd like to know if someone else has found them...
The first one is that sometimes I can't switch from WYSIWYG mode to TEXTMODE in Firefox 1.5. It just doesn't notice I'm clicking that button.
The second was mentioned earlier in thsi forum, but since it had no answer I wanted to know if someone is working on that... the appearing of the "function anonymous" phrase where I insert some piece of Javascript.
The third is very serious, but unfortunately I don't have a test condition. again, sometimes, the changes done in the editor aren't saved. This happened to me using the book module, but I can't assure it doesn't happen in other modules.
Cheers,
Pablo

Hello Pablo,
I can only help you with one of your two (or three) problems, i.e. number 2.
For security reasons it is not possible to insert Javascript code using the HTML Editor. I have never seen the appearing of the "function anonymous" phrase. What do you mean by "appearing"? is it an error message? does it appear inside your text???
Joseph
PS Please remember that, according to the netiquette is is not a good idea to a discussion a title such as "I have a problem", "Help urgently needed", "Newbie question", etc. Just state your problem in a few words. And if you have several problems, then start a discussion for each problem, stating the exact problem.
Re: Two problems
Pfff...
sorry for that newbie mistake, maybe I'm working way too much.
About the second problem. Yes, it appears inside the code I put. More information is available here.
I'd really like to have more clues about the other two mistakes, but I can't find a pattern. This happens to me and at least two more persons (my co-workers) so I posted them hoping someone else had found it.
Thanks a lot!
Pablo
