We have had our first "chat" with our students from France and Afriqua.
All is good.
But may be the window where anybody write what he wants is too little.
I saw in the source code that it is <form type="text"...>
May be it can be replace with a <textearea ...> </textarea>. In this case it is necessary to add a "send" button to send the message.
What do you think about that.
I observe the chat module is little bit slow, especially the loading of picture of the user chatting. Maybe there's is an option that can disable the picture in chat, this means more speed in chat and better spacing in chat module per response of users.
Genner, if you go to the module admin area (off the configuration page), you can edit the variables for lag time a bit. Depending on the speed of your server and connections, etc., it might benefit you to tweak the default numbers.
Thanks Tom, I did tweak the time. Improve a bit but the loading of the pic delays.
