Trying to figure out how the "automatic" database schema upgrading works when one updates the moodle version. I'm particularly blind to how it works for the "main" tables (rather than those dedicated to modules). Any chance of clue?

Is this something adodb does automagically - noticing all the XML database schema files? Very unfamiliar with adodb I'm afraid.

Sorry if this is documented somewhere and I've missed it - this would be entirely usual
