I also find Moodle a user friendly tool for educative purposes - My area is Engineering Graphics & Design and Technology Education - I found interesting to note that "can be easily done with online modules with little instructor involvement" as with the graphics and other diciplines there is varying amounts of instructor involvement - Also I find the application of skills easier as they can replace the quiz as a "synthesis activities"
