Rumour has it that this thread refers to news that should become more conclusive two days time. The link at the top is dead though.

Congratulations on the latest addition to the Dougiamas product range.

Don't let Thomas get too near your other laptop though, otherwise his first word could be 'Moodle' and his native language PHP!!!!

Glad to hear all is well.

Best wishes for you, your wife Sarah and your other child.

Give your family a real present: your full time for - lets say - two weeks. *)

*) It is easy for us to say: "Moodle can wait" It is already better then the competitors.

(MMM, to make the competition again interesting for the others, you should stay at home for at least a year..)

smile   This is the first public release of Tommy.  Most of the infrastructure is laid down, but we will now be moving into a long period of user interface development and testing with staged releases into various user communities.  wink

Thanks to everyone for the best wishes .. Sarah and Tommy are both doing great and might be home by tomorrow.

Warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to Sarah, Tui and Martin on your latest "Social Construction".  It will be a new learning experience as the second child is multiplicative and not merely additive in the challenges presented.  "OK, Which one of you two did this?"big grin

Congratulations to the Dougiamas family!!

I am sure everyone understands why you won't be online for a while.  I know that my wife would have destroyed my computer if I had attempted to work on it for the first 2-3 weeks after our son was born big grin

BTW, since Thomas is so big, when does he play in his first AFL match? wink

Take care!

May you play too much everyday with Thomas and miss many "important" Moodle discussions.

I cannot help but chime in. Best of wishes!!

This is the first time ever that I have congratulated somebody who I have never met in person with anything. I think this is one of the tangible achievements of Moodle and Martin. I know Martin is probably proud about Thomas, but I still think making a child is easier than making a Moodle. wink

Hi Martin -

I was away for a couple of weeks, and am slowly catching up with the backlog - so I only found your excellent news today. So very many congratulations to all of you, albeit a little belated. At least now you'll have something other than Moodling to keep you busy in the wee small hours (grin).
