I am in the early phases of setting up a LMS. I have started playing with Moodle and I like how powerful it is and of course the large community of users is a bonus too.
We provide face-to-face courses for healthcare workers for which we are selling tickets through eventbrite.com.
We want to provide online learning for some of those courses but these online courses should only be available for those who have purchased a ticket for the course. Therefore the LMS would need some user management I guess.
The workflow I envisage is:
1) A learner purchases a course on Eventbrite
2) The learner receives a confirmation email with a link to Moodle (I can do this using Zapier.com)
3) The learner has to register and choose a password and then gains access to the course
4) If the learner purchases another course, they should have access to both courses with the same login.
Essentially I need a way for Moodle to associate a particular course (or courses) with an email address (that is the email address the learner uses in eventbrite)
I hope this makes sense.
How might this be possible?
