You might try a language customisation (Site Administration/General). They override standard language settings.
load up your language and look for the core string called emailvia
That looks to be the source of that part of the email From line.
Mine is set to {$a->name} (via {$a->siteshortname}) -- so you could try setting it ti {$a->name} instead?
