(URGENT ) LMS Slowness

Dear Moodle Team, 


We need your urgent assistance, as some of the students are experiencing difficulties with their exams in Moodle. 

Slowness in Moodle generally affects exam time whenever a large number of students are using the LMS at the same time. 

The autosave feature is not working properly as some answers were deleted without a trace while attempting the quiz. 

Sometimes, the answer is converted into a link. (Auto linking) was not enabled when the issue occurred.

You need to give us some information about your site and situation.

Let's start with Moodle version? Complete description of server hardware and software? How many users and what are they doing? What, if anything, have you done to investigate this?

our moodle users: over 6000

we have checked the response time is set to save responses every minute.

6000 users all doing a quiz at the same time is likely to require a *very* powerful Moodle server. You haven't told us what your server specs are. It's probably just not powerful enough. But who knows if you don't tell us.

Is this "Prince Sultan University"? There's been a load of posts from different people over the last few days in different forums. I don't really see the point in doing that.
