Moodle global search pagination

Moodle global search pagination

We discovered an issue on the Moodle global search function.

It looks like if you have courses and you search for a specific term, then you get a pagination list.
In most cases there are 10 pagination tabs. However if you click on e.g on a tab that is after tab 2, then the tabs gets suddenly reduced.
Then if you click on a tab before the last listed tab then it increases to 10 tabs again.

We saw there were a few forums talking about pagination like how to increase the list of items like courses displaying, but none of them seems to talk about pagination tabs suddenly decreasing if you click on a tab and then the tabs reappear if you click on a lower tab again.

We notice in this Moodle forum ( Courses and course formats (moodle.org) ) that the list goes to 22, and if you click on 22 the list does not decrease like it does on our moodle system.

Not sure if anyone else have noticed this as well?

Moodle version: Moodle 3.11.7 (Build: 20220509)

Theme: Tested with fordson, also boost.

Browser: Edge 105.0.1343.50 , Google chrome 106.0.5249.62 .

Not sure, however the '22' here will be forum pagination and not the global search, so even though the same UI component, then they are not the same thing and cannot be compared in this case.
