Hi,

I was wondering weather anybody has written any user guides for a general user not an administrator.

Any type of guide would be very helpful.   smile

Hi Graham,

what is the content for an admin help? We have a lot of good admin docs in the documentation and a FAQ. What are you missing?

Hi Ralf,

I was just wondering if there was any documentation for a basic user, I have read the administration documents but I am looking for something for somebody who does not have admin rights because I am an administrator for my VLE but I am currently writting a guide for some users who have never used Moodle before.

In Moodle we have four types of user

admin (with the rights to make cahnges in Moodle)

teacher (with the right to edit a course)

user (people in a course)

guests (can lok in some courses).

Admin information are in the documentation.

Teacher find informations in the teacher manual (http://moodle.org/doc/?file=teacher.html, or in the teacher doc from Mat Riordan.

User and guests find some informations in the help files.  I haven't understood what you exactly mean. In the open source course (http://moodle.org/course/view.php?id=30) is a new demonstration about the options in Moodle.
