If you have a single attendance activity with a single session contained within the activity you could probably do it that way - unfortunately you can't control activity restriction by pointing at a specific session.
you can set up the attendance activity to be flagged as complete when the students get a passing grade, then set up a single session in the activity to give them a passing grade when they have attended the session, then you can set up the other activities to be avaialble when the attendance activity is flagged as complete.
There's probably a good use case for someone creating an activity restriction plugin that allowed the teacher to point at a specific session within the attendance activity to give more flexibility.
