Just a quick note that the maintainer has quit adding new versions here in the Moodle download pages for all the plugins he maintains. However, if you click the link to the, Source control URL, it will take you to Github where you can get a much more up to date version. In the case of VMoodle, there is a version for Moodle 3.8. I do not use this plugin and do not know if it works with the very latest Moodle.
