I have a fairly detailed gradebook with multiple calculations. One of the calculations requires information from 4 separate grades (using a scale, the calculation decides if the student needs a supplemental exam or passes the module). The issue I am having is that once 1 of the 4 items has a value assigned the calculation is completed and until all 4 values get filled the student is showing as needing a supplemental exam. Is there a way to limit the calculation until all 4 fields are full? Keeping in mind the calculation if statement is already used....
Would having a "blank" spot on the scale work?
