I discovered & installed Moodle yesterday, and after playing around with it for a bit saw that there's so much good stuff here I needed to actually break down and RTFM (don't tell my techie friends!). So, I downloaded the individual chapter pdf files last night, and just finished printing & binding them.
I was reeeeally dreading sitting at the computer and reading up on the system through the online help pages (or printing them out one at a time, although the "printable version" link is a nice touch), so I can't tell you how delighted I was when I discovered that the entire set of docs were available in pdf. I can now make a cup of coffee, sit in a comfortable chair, prop up my bunny slippered feet and read to my heart's content.
Of course, now that I've downloaded them, I can't find the link on the site again to give proper credit to whoever assembled this into a book. So, I'll just say it here - thanks, folks! And also to all of you tech writers who slaved away on this 200 page critter I'm about to dig into - nicely done!
And in the spirit of contributing, here's my suggestion - how about a cover page listing credits for all the folks who put blood, sweat & tears into the software & doc?
