Hello everyone,

The long anticipated Moodle 4.0 is scheduled for release on Tuesday the 19th of April (next week). The QA cycle is almost finished with only a few issues left to finalise. A huge thank you to everyone that has contributed to Moodle 4.0. All contributions, comments, coding, and testing has been very much appreciated.

Minor versions are scheduled for release in just under four weeks time. Another announcement will be made for those closer to the date.

In the meantime Moodle 4.0 is currently in beta. Now is a good time to download it and update your plugins if you are a plugin developer.
