Subspecies behavior during exam

Dear All,

An exam was conducted on Moodle service. As you can see from the attached screenshot. The user “student” who logged in to take the exam is named User1. While the subspecies user how is nickname is User2, has submitted the final exam. User2 has admin privilege on the system.

User1: Student taking the exam

User2: system Administrator, who submitted the final exam

This has never happened before. We are suspicious that User2, who has admin privilege on Moodle and server, may have helped user1 to complete the exam. We don’t know how to confirm that?

Also, you can find the attached Excel sheet. Surprisingly, the IP address of User2 is not listed. Also, the Origin is cli, not Web.

Other users submitted their exam, only their name appeared throughout the exam, and at the submission

Your support and highly appriciated.

This is not suspicious.

When the automated tasks run behind the scenes on Moodle, the actions performed automatically often get attributed to the admin user. That will be what happened here. I expect your quiz is set to submit automatically when time expires.

You can see that 'User2' did not change the response which the student had input and saved.
