My team would find it very useful if it were possible to award grades to students from either of the the 'Appointments' screens, similar to how it is possible to record attendance using the checkboxes. The tech-savviness of our 'teachers' is highly variable, and we feel that giving them this capability would be valuable for two reasons:
- It'd make the grading process easier for them, as they wouldn't have to open the 'Edit slot' page.
- It'd remove the possibility that while on the 'Edit slot' page, they inadvertently mess up any other settings for that slot.
In terms of UI, I imagine this taking the form of an additional input field in the 'students' column. In the case of a numerical grade I would imagine it being a numerical entry field; in case of a scale grade, a dropdown box.
