We noticed some strange behaviour in our moodle app with hidden courses and I'd like to ask if these are common issues or there are known solutions.
When a teacher/instructor tries to click the name of a hidden moodle course on app dasboard Recently accessed courses section, nothing happens. If the the teacher clicks the banner of the said hidden course, the course opens. If the teachers filters the same hidden course to her dasboard in Course overview section the course opens whether clicking the name or the banner. Teachers are also unable to filter overview courses by Removed from view so finding all hidden courses might be difficult.
If a site administrator clicks the hidden course it opens up in all cases. Admins also have Removed from view filter available.
As editing courses by app is not possible, is it intentional to limit access to hidden courses? One way or the other accessing these courses seems to work illogically. Any experiences?
