Hi everyone,

We are looking for students, educators and administrators interested / available to participate with UX research for the Moodle LMS 4.1 release. In this 1:1 style session, we will discuss your varying levels of experience with activities and grading in Moodle LMS.

About the session:

The session will last 45 minutes, with myself and Uli Mauersberg (LMS UX Lead). During this time, we will cover:

  • Your experience with Moodle
  • How you currently use Moodle activities in your studies / work
  • What you like and dislike about activities in the current version of Moodle and any opportunities you see would improve them.

Who and where:

We are wanting to speak to Students, Educators and Administrators, with varying levels of experience with Moodle LMS. This session will be facilitated remotely via UserZoom Go over the next 2 weeks.

How to sign up:

If you are free and able to participate we'd love to hear from you! Simply input your details into this form (Sign Up for Research with Moodle UX Team) and we will be in touch via email. Note: if you have already completed this form in the past, please resubmit your details to flag your interest.

This research will be foundational into how we approach redesigning the activity / grading experience. There are no right or wrong answers in these sessions — every bit of feedback will help us improve the LMS product. We really look forward to speaking with the community ☺️

Thank you to everyone who has signed up so far - we've had an amazing turn-out! We have spent the better part of 2 weeks talking to members of our community, on how we can improve activities and grading in Moodle (amounting to over 9 hours of conversation). This research will continue through to next week, while we continue to build a solid understanding of the current state.

If you kindly volunteered for UX research - however, were not contacted - we thank you and want to communicate that we will be conducting another round of testing in our next phase of research (in the coming 2 - 4 weeks). In this phase, we intend to test some new prototype designs based on the current research. Stay tuned...

A special thanks to the following, who I've had the pleasure of recently meeting:

• Mathieu
• Kamran
• Florian
• Erik
• Emma
• David
• Nathan
• John
• Gemma

Looking forward to continuing this great research and speaking to more Moodler's සිනහව
