Weekly/Monthly attendance report - all courses

Hi

I've recently been put in charge of our moodle site and slowly working things out although I can't seem to find anything regarding my query. (it may just be I'm using the wrong wording)

I need to be able to check that the attendance is being completed by the teachers after each session, as they tend to leave it to the end of the month and then make mistakes. It's a new system for them too and I understand that it takes a while to change after jotting down attendance in a notepad for years.

Is there a way to produce a report that shows all of the courses, with all the sessions programmed between certain dates, and which ones have had attendance recorded?

The only way I can see to do this at the moment is to go into and check each of the courses individually.

Not sure if it makes a difference, but we're using Attendance version 3.9.3

Thanks in advance for any advice and comments.

Chris

That's not something currently supported out of the box.

If you have someone that is able to write SQL-based reports for you, it is probably possible using the custom report or ad-hoc report plugins - but this is the sort of thing I'd like to see possible via some custom reports using the new Moodle 4.0 reportbuilder feature (we'll need to write a custom report source for attendance to support it but hopefully I'll find time to do that after 4.0 release.)
