View site participants

Hi,

I can't figure out what I am doing wrong here.
I am using Moodle 3.11 with the plugin local_bs_badge_ladder

When I look at the site badge student ladder with the admin account, it works fine.
When I look at the site badge student ladder with a student account, it tells me I do not have the permission "view site participants". Fair enough, so I update the student role and add the "view site participants" permission. But I still get the following error message.

"Sorry, but you do not currently have permissions to do that (View participants)"

I guess I could try to turn on all the permissions one by one that are in the admin role and not in the student role, but it would probably take me a (very boring) day to do that. Any suggestion ?

The badge ladder plugin has not been updated since Moodle 3.6. I would not be surprised if there are some issues with it in Moodle 3.11.

You might try to contact the maintainer of the plugin and see if this issue has been reported or they know what the problem may be.
