What is the effect of purge converted files? On site administration/plugins/ Moodlcloud converter?
Is it something that should be run regularly?

Hi Sam,
If you purge the converted files, this will remove all files converted by the MoodleCloud document converter from your site and then disable the converter plugin. This should be used if you no longer want to use the converter and would like to remove all files linked to it.

Thanks we're concerned that there seems to be a lot of storage of converted documents on our site. We're considering switching it off to delete those that have been converted then switching it back on. We do use the feature, but once files have been marked we don't necessarily need the conversions and are looking for ways to reduce space.
