Searching forums (and other stuff) within the SQL tables isn't unduly difficult. I think the difficulty is in searching the resources that are uploaded. These are invariably Word documents etc so these need to be indexed and searched outside the SQL tables.
We may stitch in a fairly clumsy document search function which will achieve what we need but definitely be inelegant.
