Not sure if I should be posting this here and whether it'd have been better in the Quiz forum and apologies if there's already an answer for this that I've missed.
What I'm looking to do is set things up so that the parent of a student gets an email if a quiz goes overdue. I've created the parental role (as per https://docs.moodle.org/311/en/Parent_role) and that all seems to be working fine - parents can see mark books, etc. I've gone into the roles permissions and set mod/quiz:emailwarnoverdue to Allow. However, this hasn't worked. I'm assuming that it because its because that's to do with whether the parent has gone overdue, rather than their child. I feel like there must be some easy solution here that I'm overlooking. Any help would be very gratefully received!
