MoodleMoot 06 - the third annual UK conference for
users, administrators and developers of Moodle will be held this year
at The Open University in Milton Keynes on July 25 & 26.
Registrations are open, and are going fast, but this year we have
around 220 places available, so hopefully we can fit you all in.
This year Martin Dougiamas will be with us, attending a UK MoodleMoot in person for the first time.
You will get the chance to meet and swap ideas with a wide range of
practitioners and learn from Moodle experts from the UK and around the
world (we already have delegates and speakers registered from the USA,
New Zealand, Iceland and various European countries, as well as most
parts of the UK). This year there are four tracks in the conference
covering the use of Moodle in schools, FE & HE, Business, and a
Moodle Admin and Technical track.
Full details are available from http://moodlemoot.org and registration for this two day conference is the same as last year at £70.00 including lunch on both days.
There is the possibility of a Moodle HackFest on the Monday immediately preceding the conference, for any developers that might want to throw code (and ideas) at each other - Martin has expressed an interest in that event too. If you would be interested in this extra day, please let us know by sending an email to registrations@moodlemoot.org - once we have a better idea of numbers we will be able to say whether or not this extra event will happen, and how much it might cost to participate.
