As you may know, the codebase of the app recently went through an overhaul with the migration to Ionic 5. At the start of that journey, we noticed that some parts of the documentation were outdated or missing. So one of our goals for this update was to revamp the documentation as well.

It has taken longer than we expected, but it’s finally here! If you’re interested, you can start reading the new documentation in our wiki at docs.moodle.org/dev/Moodle_App.

Even if you consider yourself a Moodle App expert, we still encourage you to take a look because there are some completely new pages that should be interesting to everyone — like the Moodle App Overview or the Moodle App Development Guide.

Now that it’s out in the open, we can’t wait to get your feedback. What do you like? What don’t you like? What is still missing?

As always, the documentation remains open. If there is something you want to help with, you’re welcome to contribute.
