Image issue

Hello all;

Currently, whenever post an image inside a discussion forum post on Moodle the image is shown properly on Moodle, but it appears as a broken image inside the email received by the students.

If any one know how to solve this issue kindly advice me.

Files/Image files in Moodle are generally not visible from outside if you are not logged in. So an image in an email would be referring to the url of the image and if the student was not logged in the image would appear as broken.

Even if the students logged in they will receive a broken image. By the way this is happen even for the lecturer.

Can you use your browser inspector to find the URL of the image when you can see the image and when it is broken?
