Hi,

We are using Moodle version 3.9.4, I would like to know if it is safe to delete the files in the following 

folders: tmp\backup within the  $CFG->dataroot (folder)? 

These files were created after backup failure of the courses and they are taking space on the server.

Now the follow up ... have you discovered (and corrected) the reason(s) for backup failures?

Is you cron job and scheduled task functioning as it should ... there are 'clean ups' that should have done that!
