When a teacher clicks to manually enrol a user, there is the search text box and the results box. The Select users box contains "No selection" default. When a user clicks on the results box, it gets a highlight border as if it were a text-entry box with the focus, but it's not. This confuses some users, who think they should be able to type into it. They do not immediately recognize they should type into the Search box due to the red herring of the border. Perhaps if the border could be made zero pixels, or the same color as the background, or removed entirely, that would help.
The reason I bring this up *in this forum* is that I have created an Issue for it in the tracker, and I want people to comment and/or vote on this issue.
Here's the issue in the bug tracker: https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-72197
- Go to a course, any course
- Click Participants
- Click Enrol users
- Click "No selection" It highlights with a border, as if it's a search box.
Thanks for any support/commentary/criticism/light humor. Cheers!
