Deletion of old Moodle folder following an upgrade

A quick question about deleting a old Moodle installation after an upgrade and being satisfied that the new upgrade is working the way it should be: Besides deleting the old Moodle installation and all subdirectories that were created prior to running the upgrade to the latest version of Moodle, are there any files or directories that might be "hanging around" after the upgrade that I might also want to kill?

I've no idea what you're asking... if you upgrade Moodle you would generally replace the old version with the new version. There's no Moodle 'installation' files as such.

What did you do?

Not sure what you are asking as you now use git - correct?   I guess one could say that git is the 'installer'.  A git pull can only be run in the code directory and git handles all the deletions, additions, edits to core code - that's non-modified core code.
