Dear Juan,

Could you tell me the jail server environments of the demo site (https://demovpl.dis.ulpgc.es/) ?

I read the thread for python code with Turtle.

In the demo site, it works normally.

However, when I run the same turtle program after installing the vpl jail server locally, only a white screen appears.

The environment of the server where vpl jail server is installed is as follows.

- vpl jail server 2.7.1

- Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04

- VNC Server tigervnc 1.11, 1.10

- window-manager: gnome


After the following error occurs, the connection with the VNC Server is disconnected.

Warning: VNC extension does not support -reset, terminating instead. Use -noreset to prevent termination.

Dear Edward,
The VNC launcher tries to use as "window manager" (in this order) Icewm, FluxBox, OpenBox, and Metacity. Please, check that you have one of them installed and running.
The demo jail server uses TightVNC. I don't check if the system will run using TigerVNC.
