SEB for windows has been updated to allow access to the webcam, the MAC version doesn't have this yet. If you have a look here - https://safeexambrowser.org/news_en.html you will see WebRTC support was added for Windows on June 7.
It sounds like I am doing similar testing for SEB as you right now. If you would like to compare notes mail me on my Profile email.
