Hello all, we are running a Moodle 2.9 site, which has been stable for a long time, soon to be depreciated (September). For no apparent reason the /messages folder was removed which made the site go down. We have no idea how this occurred four days ago. Our Moodle 2.9 site is hosted on a custom, managed VPS by a large Australian provider. They recovered the /messages folder from a backup and the site came back up.
Ever since, email notifications have stopped - quiz submissions, ad-hoc reports, etc. I turned on debugging and noticed this error when calling the message outputs/defaults in administration area:
Fatal error: Class 'message_airnotifier_manager' not found in /home/{our_account}/public_html/learn/message/output/airnotifier/message_output_airnotifier.php on line 203
Can anyone suggest how to resolve this air notifier issue? (And the secondary question would be how this may have happened on a VPS?)
