Moodle migration works well within its limits.

Well 300 GB of moodledata is a specially heavy case. Are you sure all that is genuine? We have seen all sorts of "swellings" over time. People taking backups recursively, course backups crashing and not cleaning the half-done work, PDF annotation readers creating absurdly big files, ... Anyway, how does the weight shows itself: Does the site crawl? Your fear your quota (or hard disk in case of dedicated) will soon run out?
As a general rule, clean up before renting more space!
