Turnitin Assignment 2 issue - turnitintooltwo/Turnitin Class creation failed

Our Moodle site encountered an issue where when users are trying to create Turnitin assignments, it shows this error message. The connection to API also failed when testing the connection.


We are using Moodle version 3.2

Please, help us with some detailed solutions and ideas.

Hi Theodore,

So this is not really a Moodle issue at all, so you might be asking in the wrong place. From my side, we have had some issuers with Turnitin, so you will need to contact them to make sure you have the correct keys for the plugin.

I can also suggest upgrading your site, as 3.2 is very old now and then you will be able to update the Turnitin plugin as well.
