Hi everyone. My company and I are just about to start using Moodle as our LMS. We are needing to ask our learners questions and then based on their answers, suggest specific courses for them to do. Does anyone have any ideas of how we might do this? Are there any apps that people recommend?
You might be able to do something with the Lesson activity. This has branching that might do the job.
I’ve seen something similar done with quizzes and feedback. There are lots of feedback options in a quiz.
So you could be very specific…
How would you rate your confidence in using Word?
- Basic
- Intermediate
- Advanced
and then use the specific feedback option for each choice to recommend/link to appropriate courses.
Or, in a similar way, you could use Overall Feedback for grade boundaries. So people who scored consistently “low” would get advice about basic courses, etc.
