https issue in vpl jai server

I am getting the following error

 1 passed to vpl_jailserver_manager::get_https_server_list() must be of the type string, null given, called in [dirroot]/mod/vpl/forms/edit.json.php on line122

my moodle is having https  and vpl have only http.While executing programs i am getting the above error.Kindly help me to rectify this.

Please, tell us your VPL and PHP version.
Also, as a workaround, go to "Advanced setting" > "Local execution servers" and click "Save changes" to change the DB field from NULL to empty string.

I am not finding advanced setttings in vpl settings as you informed above

By default, the roles: guest, student, and non-editing-teacher have no access to the "local execution servers" (jail servers) option. I guess you have access and you must see an "action menu" as the screenshot below. Anyway, if your Moodle is using HTTPS the jail server must also use HTTPS.
