I am using Moodle 3.5

I am testing features of the assignment module and noticed we are not receiving any of the assignment email notifications.

I have turned on notifications as below.


User preference settings is turned on to receive emails.

Cronjob for Moodle is running.

As an admin, I receive this email notification regularly:


Which of the schedule tasks should I check for email notification?
Am I missing some other settings here?

Really appreciate any guidance, thanks!

I was checking this again and i saw i received email notification on the grader's feedback on the assignment.

However it came in a few days late. Anyone can help me point where is the correct schedule task/settings to check?

Hi Karishma - Is your cron job set to run every minute, as recommended in the cron documentation? To check this you need access to the server where Moodle is hosted (front-end admin access is not enough).

Yes my cronjobs are running. They are working as student activity completion and all are on track.

The SMTP setup given to me had the wrong password. Updated it and it is fine now.
