Hi Team...
My Moodle site has a Contact Us icon that was in the system before I took over the admin. It hasn't been working for some time and need assistance in updating it.
It used to point to http://www.??????????.com/message/index.php?id=5759 but again hasn't been working. Can you advise if the id=5759 was a userid of some sort. If so, I changed it to my userid but the email page is not displayed and just refreshes the main page. If it is a userid, what moodle table does it need to be in to work.
I went into the Site Administration / Appearance / Themes / Fordson / Icon Navigation / and updated the Home Page Icon 3 to use the URL of https://??????????.com/send-an-email/
This does send the email but the next page the Student has to scroll down to see the email form. Not a good customer experience.
Screen displayed, but as you can see, (Well can't) the email form is way down the page,.
Scroll down and you get the email page.
So three questions...
1. What is the id field in the url - http://www.??????????.com/message/index.php?id=5759
2. How can I just show the email form with it defaulting to a specific email account for the email to be sent too.
3. Can I update the .php file in ??????????.com/theme/fordson/settings/fpicons_settings.php
If so, how can I implement a mailto: and where in the code.
