We're getting ready to pilot https://moodle.org/plugins/plagiarism_urkund for some courses. Our current moodle instance (we do a new instance for each academic year) is not fully registering the plugin. We are building our instance for the next academic year and the plugin works perfectly there. So the plugin is fine. Our instance is not.
The current moodle instance is 3.8.4 (the problem one) and the new one is 3.9.6 since you'll ask me that. The 3.8.4 instance has had issues with some plugins not fully installing. That is, they appear installed on the plugins page but they are not available where they are supposed to be. These are plugins that tend to append to the menu the system.
Anyway, my actual question is what is required to register a plagiarism plugin so that the UI shows it in activities. Which tables manage that registration. If someone can point me in the right direction I can look at the working 3.9.6 instance tables to see what a working registration looks like.
Or any other thoughts are welcomed,
