I have a site hosted on moodle : fmgeonline.com
However I cannot open this site and when checked on my godaddy account, they said its all fine from their end. Can anyone help me how to get this issue resolved?
Possible cause: it looks like this site is Moodle 3.0 which was compatible with PHP 7.0 at most. Support for PHP 7.0 ended in 2019 so it's possible the hosting provider have removed this and replaced it with a PHP version that Moodle 3.0 does not support. Support for Moodle 3.0 ended four years ago.
To see what version of PHP you have add a file called phpinfo.php in your site's source code folder (document root) containing two lines:
Then access this file with https://www.fmgeonline.com/phpinfo.php. Remove this file after you've checked as it may provide information useful to an attacker.
If the server has PHP 7.1 or 7.2 then you can upgrade to Moodle 3.5 to resolve this. This thread is a similar issue. There's a table showing PHP compatibility for Moodle versions.
