Is there a good way to get the median of a category of grades so that I can use it in a grade calculation?
Our faculty have been gravitating towards specification grading and reading up on grading equity. I'm trying to come up with a calculation that would be agnostic to the number of assignments in a category, but would also allow me to get the median grade of a category rather than the average.
