Quiz timer not visible during the quiz

Hi,

We prepared a quiz with the following features, and some of the students said they couldn't see the timer during the quiz. Why could it be? We are using Moodle 3.5.14 and our theme is Lambda.

- Set the quiz open time / close time / open attempts are submitted are automaticlly

- layout / never, all questions are one page

- We gave an extra time to one of our students.

We adjusted all these settings one day before the quiz.

any ideas would be really usefull

If you only have an open and close time, but not a time limit, then the timer will only show up during the last hour. At least, i think it is how it worked in Moodle 3.5.

And, if all the questions are on one page, then the students will never reload, so there is nothing to cause the timer to appear during the last hour.

I suggest upgrading to a newer Moodle version when you can, and split the quiz into more than one page.
