We have some changes to the UX team that I would like to share with you all.
Candice Diemer, who has been overseeing UX for Moodle 4.0, is leaving Moodle and we wish her all the best and thank her for her contribution to 4.0 UX during the last 9 months or so.
Rafael Lechugo, who has been doing a great job overseeing UX for Moodle Workplace, will be stepping into Candice’s shoes to maintain momentum and will be leading our team of UX designers.
It is excellent to have Rafael on the team as his experience will bring advantages and alignment between LMS and Workplace. Rafael reports to our Moodle LMS Product Manager, Sander Bangma, which is critically important as we work in close collaboration on the design prototypes and the extensive developments ahead. We will also be hiring new designers into the UX team this year.
Moodle 4.0 UX will continue evolving in the coming months, and we will keep you informed as work progresses on this important project.
Thanks to all of you who are contributing here, please continue providing feedback and ideas in the forums and by volunteering for user testing!
