This is a very interesting question you have. Moodle itself will not be able to accommodate this request 100%. We can however try to be more creative and see if it can be done in other ways. The only tool I can think of that might be able to allow creativity to this extent is H5P, it is 100% free and has some powerful features. It is also part of Moodle core code. The core version is a bit tricky still, so I do recommend still using the H5P plugin until it improves.
Alternatively you can look at some custom audio hosting sites that allow embedding, something like "SoundCloud". I have not used any of them and I don't know what features they offer, but it looks like a good start if you look at this page: https://checkout.soundcloud.com/pro?ref=t726
You will notice the paid versions have custom player and embedding.
